Synopsis/Plot
A tough girl named Mito, who is compelled to live on the streets, poses as a boy to get away from prying eyes. She meets Ruka, a dashing vampire with sophisticated taste, one evening. Ruka gives her a deal when she tries her blood, which turns out not to be very tasty because of her bad luck. She poses as a boy to get away from danger and ends up living in a dorm full of vampires, giving them blood in exchange for a roof over their heads.
The comedy aspect of the show is predominant. The idea of a human girl living among vampires while concealing her true identity is hilarious in and of itself. The cheerful and vibrant animation goes well with the playful mood.
The combination of characters is delightful. Even though she is reluctant at first, Mito is a powerful and cunning lead character. The main vampire, Ruka, is a refined gentleman who has an unexpected weakness for corny romantic video games. Each vampire in the supporting cast has a unique personality and set of peculiarities, which adds to the enjoyment.
